One morning I heard a familiar chirp outside.
It was the cardinal’s song. Hearing it, I knew this pretty red bird was nearby. A glance out the window showed me the cardinal’s brilliant red plumage in a bush near my birdbath. Likewise, when we recognize the phases of manifestation, we know that a manifestation is near.
There are five phases of manifestation according to Abraham.
The order in which a manifestation occurs is:
- Emotion
- Thoughts/ideas
- Rendezvous with nature
- Helpful people/situations
- Physical manifestation
Let’s look more closely at them.
1. Emotion
The first sign or evidence of a manifestation is an improved emotion. This is what we’re accomplishing when we choose thoughts that feel better.
2. Thoughts/ideas
Once we shift our energy, then we have access to a stream of thought that matches our new energy. This is why thoughts and ideas show up next. When a good-feeling thought occurs to you and you almost want to palm your forehead that you didn’t think of it before, that’s a time when you’re noticing a new thought or idea show up.
3. Rendezvous with nature
Next on the continuum is a connection or rendezvous with nature. For example, you rendezvous with nature when you look out the window at the very moment that a flock of birds alights to feed in your yard. Good timing is in this category, and so are things like seeing all the same number on a digital clock (at 5:55 for instance).
4. Helpful people/situations
After that, the timing and rendezvous become more specific to your situation. It’s not just the time on a clock or validation from nature. Now there are people giving you help and offering solutions. Now circumstances are starting to fall into place that are clearly being orchestrated by the Universe.
5. Physical manifestation
And, finally, the actual “thing” itself appears. You buy the car. The money is flowing into your bank account. Your body is becoming trim and fit. A desired manifestation is taking physical form.
What now?
Now that you know the phases of manifestation, you’ll start noticing them. And you can start producing them. It starts with choosing thoughts to soothe your energy. When you notice you’re feeling better, put your antennae up. New thoughts and ideas are going to show up next.
Acknowledge what’s happening.
When the numbers on the clock all match, or when you find yourself having good timing, take credit for the evidence of your alignment.
Recognize the signs.
Take note of the Universe orchestrating helpful people onto your path. Observe those situations the Universe effortlessly pulls together that you could not have achieved in a month of Sundays.
Remember to keep feeling good, every step of the way.
Find ways to feel good about the manifestations that are occurring around you. When you see someone living what you want, that is evidence that the manifestation is getting closer to you. Feeling good about it will bring it closer. Feeling jealous or that it’s unfair or that everyone else gets all the good stuff — that energy keeps it away.
So there you are.
Just as recognizing the cardinal’s song told me I’d see him if I looked in the yard, likewise recognizing the stages of manifestation will help you to notice what’s unfolding around you. And, knowing with the awareness that it’s unfolding, you can deliberately choose to continue to build the vibrational momentum. By the way, Abraham didn’t always include the “nature” step when they talked about the stages of manifestation. They’ve only been including that in the last couple of years. If you listen to older recordings, you’ll hear Abe talk about the four stages of manifestation.
