I kept telling myself that I’d write everyday…
Before, I would pull out a notebook and write down appreciations, do a focus wheel (with a circle in the middle and the 12 spokes), and play with the alphabet game. I usually worked with process when I was wanting to feel better about something. I kept telling myself that I’d write everyday (especially after feeling so much better after writing things down) but when things were feeling good (and they usually are good) I wouldn’t do the processes.
I am more aware than ever that our point of power is in the here and now…
I have a much greater appreciation for the power of process work now. I am more aware than ever that our point of power is in the here and now and that we really are the creators of our own experiences. By doing processes on a daily basis, we are navigating and not just being blown about (so to speak!). I’m glad I signed up for both work-groups so that I got into a new habit.
I also enjoyed being able to read how other people were handling situations
I thought the format was great. I’m glad that I wrote the processes in a text format first so that I’d save a copy on my hard drive. I would have liked to copied the replies because the feedback given was great. I also enjoyed being able to read how other people were handling situations and writing their processes because I learned from that. It was great getting a CD on a weekly basis and the timing of that worked out great. Overall, I had a great experience.
The level of accountability was key for me…
I think the biggest benefit was the feedback I got from Teresa. Another benefit was writing every day and having a day of grace. Also, knowing that if you missed more than one day you’d be kicked out. That level of accountability was key for me.
There are like-minded people out there…
This is a unique group because Teresa is committed to working the processes. I learned so much from reading her posts and from her feedback. I also learned a lot from the other group members. I made some nice connections with members and appreciate that there are like minded people out there wanting to create their own experiences like I want to.
Forming new habits means doing the work…
I would tell them that they’ll get the swing of the format quickly and that they’ll find their groove. Forming new habits means taking the time and making the commitment to do the work even if you’re not really in the mood.
