When my father was young, he took a car apart
As he dismantled the car, he laid out all the parts in a line.
Then he worked backwards from that line.
Starting with the last piece he had taken apart, he reversed direction and put the car back together.
He said there was an odd part or two left over when he was finished
Aside from that, the process he describes is reverse-engineering. Taking something apart to figure out how it works.
I like to use reverse-engineering as a Law of Attraction tool
Here’s the basis I start with:
- I am always a vibrational match to where I am.
- I am HERE.
- Law of Attraction says I am a vibrational match to HERE.
If HERE is unwanted, then let’s use reverse-engineering to become a match to THERE instead.
- I am always a vibrational match to where I am.
- I want to be THERE.
- But I am HERE.
- Therefore I must be emanating vibrations that match HERE.
- What does HERE feel like?
So let’s say HERE is “not enough money”
What does Not Enough Money feel like?
- Limited
- Embarrassed
- Worried
- Unsuccessful
Therefore, I must have “limited, embarrassed, worried and unsuccessful” active in my vibration.
Usually I want to say, No, I don’t feel that
But Law of Attraction tells me I must be feeling that. Otherwise I could not be manifesting a shortage of money.
So that’s where I use reverse engineering
I use it when my awareness says, No, I’m not emitting those emotions.
By applying the concept of Reverse Engineering, the fact that I’m HERE tells me that I must be emitting those emotions or I wouldn’t be here.
That’s often a turning point for me
My logic allows me to own — and do the work on — the vibration that the evidence tells me I’m emitting.
And if there are a few emotions that I just can’t connect to, no matter what?
Those are like the parts my father had leftover
A few parts were sitting out after my dad finished putting the car back together.
They must not have been vital because the car still ran.
Likewise we don’t have to clean up every single emotion
When we reverse-engineer, shifting our energy on some of the oblivious thoughts is enough to start things moving.
