One day I met a young father in the neighborhood.
This young man was walking with his little boy.
I introduced myself, and the father told me his name, Erin.
That made me pause. To me, Erin is a girl’s name. Then I realized he must have saidAaron.
We chatted for a few minutes then Aaron went on his way.
And I went home.
Shortly after getting to my house, I heard a big truck outside. I glanced out the window to see if I was getting a delivery.
There was a truck from Aaron’s Furniture Rental parking in front of my house.
How remarkable that a little focus earlier on the name Aaron resulted in another Aaron manifestation, and so quickly.
Right? Well, there was more.
The next day I was at my sister’s house.
I saw that my sister had the Food section from the Washington Post newspaper and I picked it up.
I began reading the main article, about a restaurant called Rose’s Luxury.Â
It’s the hottest restaurant in Washington right now. The chef/owner’s name is Aaron.
This was one day after meeting the neighbor Aaron followed by the big Aaron’s truck parking in front of my house.
At first it felt spooky.
Then it felt exciting. With so little focus, Aaron was showing up all around me.
Of course, everything is responding to me the same as manifestations of “Aaron” did. It’s just that my focus is muddier with other things.
Clearing that focus up can be as easy as these Aaron encounters.
Now I have a new way to remind myself to focus.Â
When I want to remember that I get what I think about, I just tell myself: Aaron, Aaron, Aaron.
